The Kitchen Staff is responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food items, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, and ensuring smooth day-to-day kitchen operations. This role supports chefs and cooks in delivering high-quality meals while following safety and sanitation procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist chefs and cooks in basic food preparation (washing, chopping, peeling, marinating, etc.).

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, utensils, and equipment.

• Follow hygiene, food safety, and company guidelines at all times.

• Stock, organize, and properly store raw materials and ingredients.

• Dispose of waste and maintain kitchen cleanliness as per HACCP / FSSAI standards.

• Assist in cooking, plating, and garnishing dishes as directed.

• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the supervisor.

• Ensure timely support during busy service hours.

• Uphold teamwork and coordinate effectively with the kitchen team.

Skills & Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation.

• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Understanding of hygiene, safety, and food handling standards.

• Physical stamina to work long hours and handle kitchen equipment.

• Team player with good communication and time management skills.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

• Prior experience in kitchens, restaurants, or catering (added advantage).

• On-the-job training will be provided.
