A Kitchen Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in the kitchen. The role includes washing utensils, cleaning kitchen equipment and work areas, handling waste disposal, and ensuring smooth support to the chefs and kitchen staff during operations.
Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils, and work areas.
Ensure proper storage and organization of kitchen tools and materials.
Assist chefs and cooks with basic kitchen setup and logistics.
Handle waste management and maintain cleanliness in the dishwashing and back area.
Follow all hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards.
Refill cleaning supplies and report any equipment issues to supervisors.
