A Guest Service Associate (GSA) in Food & Beverage (F&B) with service knowledge and cashier skills is responsible for delivering excellent guest experiences by efficiently serving food and beverages, managing payment transactions, and maintaining high standards in hospitality, communication, and presentation.
Greet guests courteously, seat them, present menus, and explain daily specials or promotions.
Take and serve orders accurately, ensuring food and beverages are delivered promptly per guest preferences.
Process payments using the POS system, handle cash or card transactions accurately, issue receipts and return correct change.
Resolve guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, escalating issues as needed.
Maintain cleanliness at workstations, tables, and dining areas, ensuring readiness for all service periods.
Assist with reservations, upsell menu items, and promote other services offered by the establishment.
Strong communication skills with fluency in English; able to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Good personality and professional grooming to create a positive impression.
Knowledge of F&B service standards and basic cashiering procedures.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality training is an advantage.
Previous experience in restaurant service or cashier roles is preferred but not always essential.
The minimum age to work as an F&B GSA is typically 23 years or Above
