Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong storytelling skills, excellent editing techniques, and the ability to transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality video content. You will collaborate with the creative, marketing, and production teams to deliver visually appealing videos that align with brand guidelines and project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
A video editor with our company will have multiple responsibilities:
Edit video content for multiple outlets, including social media, YouTube.
Evaluate raw footage and review shot lists and storyboards
Use software to enhance video footage
Implement effective storytelling techniques
Suggest and implement appropriate special effects and music additions
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in film studies, production, video editing, visual effects, cinematography, graphic design, or a related field.
Relevant work experience focusing in the post-production process.
Proficiency with video editing software, including Adobe Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Communication skills that allow the editor to collaborate with other video production team members.
Experience with digital video editing and motion graphics.
Basic knowledge of camera operations and shooting techniques is a plus.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Multimedia, Mass Communication, or a related field (preferred, not mandatory).
2–3 years of relevant work experience (Freshers with strong portfolios may also apply).
Preference will be given to candidates who are well versed with AI tools.
