🔍 Job Purpose:

To provide psychological support and guidance to individuals struggling with substance abuse, helping them through recovery and rehabilitation using counseling techniques and therapy sessions.

🧑‍💼 Key Responsibilities:

1. Assessment & Intake:

   • Conduct initial assessments and interviews with patients and their families.

   • Maintain detailed case histories and psychosocial evaluations.

2. Counseling & Therapy:

   • Provide individual and group counseling to patients.

   • Offer motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT).

   • Conduct family counseling sessions to educate and involve families in the recovery process.

3. Rehabilitation Support:

   • Help patients identify triggers and develop coping mechanisms.

   • Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.

   • Encourage participation in rehabilitation programs and support groups (e.g., AA, NA).

4. Documentation & Reporting:

   • Maintain accurate and confidential case records.

   • Prepare reports for review by medical professionals and government authorities, if required.

5. Education & Awareness:

   • Conduct awareness sessions on substance abuse prevention.

   • Participate in community outreach programs and workshops.

   • Conduct team field visit for awarness

6. Team Collaboration:

   • Work closely with doctors, nurses, psychiatrists, and social workers.

   • Participate in staff meetings and training programs.

🎓 Qualifications:

• Prior experience in substance abuse counseling or mental health (preferred)

💰 Salary: As per government norms or institutional policy

🗓️ Working Hours: As per DDAC schedule, including possible shifts and weekend duties
