Key responsibilities
Sales and lead generation:
Contacting potential customers via outbound calls to promote products and services.
Responding to inbound calls from customers who have been solicited through advertisements or other marketing efforts.
Qualifying leads and identifying customer needs to pitch relevant offers.
Customer interaction:
Answering customer questions about products and services.
Processing orders and providing information on transactions.
Building and maintaining customer relationships.
Administrative tasks:
Maintaining and updating customer records and databases.
Creating and presenting sales reports to management.
Staying up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends.
Required skills
Communication: Excellent verbal communication, listening, and interpersonal skills are essential for persuasive sales pitches and customer service.
Sales acumen: Ability to handle rejection, stay calm under pressure, and meet sales quotas and targets.
Technical proficiency: Working knowledge of computer software, including customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and basic office software.
