Job Title: Business Development Manager – Financial Services Location: Goregaon (East), Mumbai Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹50,000 per month (Fixed) + Attractive Incentives Experience Required: 2–4 years in Trade Finance, Business Loans, or the Finance Industry About the Role: We are looking for a result-driven and proactive Business Development Manager to join our growing financial services team. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in credit evaluation, unsecured lending, and Trade finance, and preferably have worked with Bill Discounting, Sales Bill Discounting, fintech platforms, or NBFCs. The role involves generating high potential leads, converting them into active clients, and leading a small business development team. Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation & Conversion Identify and acquire potential clients through networks, platforms, and credit agencies. Analyze client financial needs and offer tailored funding or credit based solutions. Convert qualified leads into active customers for products such as business loans, unsecured loans, LAP, etc. Client Relationship Management Build and maintain long-term, trust-based client relationships. Provide advisory services on credit health, trade finance, and funding opportunities. Ensure excellent post-sales servicing and client support. Business Acquisition Promote a wide range of financial products including Business Loans, LAP, Trade Finance, and Lease Rental Discounting (LRD). Meet and exceed monthly sales and revenue targets. Prepare proposals and conduct impactful client presentations. Team Handling Lead and support a small team of executives. Share leads, monitor performance, and provide continuous feedback and training. Conduct team meetings and ensure alignment with business goals. Market & Credit Research Stay updated on market trends, credit bureau practices, and financial industry benchmarks. Collaborate with underwriting and operations teams for seamless processing and closures. Evaluate creditworthiness and documentation to assist in decision-making. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field 2–4 years of relevant experience in credit-based financial services or business development Strong knowledge of credit analysis, documentation, and loan structuring Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Capable of leading a small team, multitasking, and working independently
