The Retail Relationship Manager (RRM) is responsible for acquiring, managing, and growing a team of agents (or financial advisors) who will drive business growth through customer acquisition and service. The RRM ensures the agents are well-trained, motivated, and aligned with business goals, focusing on revenue generation through product sales (insurance, financial products, etc.) and customer relationship management.
Identify, recruit, and onboard qualified agents/advisors to build a high-performing distribution network.
Conduct regular training and mentoring sessions for agents on product knowledge, sales skills, and compliance.
Set performance goals and monitor agent productivity against targets.
Support agents in fieldwork, customer meetings, and closing deals.
Drive revenue through sales of retail financial products (e.g., life insurance, general insurance, mutual funds, loans, etc.).
Ensure agents are consistently generating new business through leads, referrals, and personal networks.
Collaborate with the marketing team for local campaigns to boost lead generation.
Track, monitor, and report on agent-wise and overall business performance.
Analyze market trends and competition to identify opportunities for growth.
Ensure regular MIS reporting and business updates to management.
Maintain strong relationships with key clients and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Resolve client issues escalated through agents in a timely manner.
Education: Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred)
Experience: 2–5 years in sales, agency management, or financial services
