JD of UPS Inverter Service Engineer Job Title: Service Engineer (Inverter, Solar Inverter & Battery Job Location: Noida & Overseas Locations Department: Technical Services & Support Reports To: Service Manager / Technical Head Position Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Service Engineer to manage, troubleshoot, and repair inverters, solar inverters, and battery systems (Tubular, SMF, and Lithium). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with inverter technology, troubleshooting, component-level PCB repair, and batteries (Tubular, SMF, and Lithium). The role involves onsite and remote support for installation, maintenance, and repair, ensuring optimal system performance and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Installation & Commissioning Support: o Provide technical support for the installation and commissioning of inverters, solar inverters, and battery systems at customer sites. o Guide proper wiring, configuration, and testing of systems to meet safety and operational standards. Troubleshooting & Repair: o Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in inverters, solar inverters, and batteries. o Perform PCB-level repairs at customer sites and component-level repairs at the service center. Customer Support: o Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers regarding system performance and technical issues. o Train customers on the proper operation and maintenance of the systems. Technical Reporting: o Ensure all repairs are documented and completed in a timely manner. o Maintain accurate service reports, including fault diagnosis, work performed, and parts replaced. o Provide regular feedback to the management team on system performance and customer concerns. Required Qualifications & Skills: Education: ITI or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics, or a related field. Experience: 2-3 years of experience in servicing and troubleshooting inverters, solar inverters, or battery systems. Skills: o In-depth knowledge of inverter technology and solar power systems. o Familiarity with inverter technology and the ability to analyze faults using circuit diagrams and service manuals. o Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills. o Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. o Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and the technical team. o Proficiency in using technical tools and equipment for installation and repairs. Working Conditions: The role may require frequent travel to customer sites, sometimes in remote or challenging environments. The role may involve deployment at overseas customer locations for ground-level service support and local team training. Flexible working hours depending on service calls or customer needs.
