The Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of all electrical systems, equipment, and machinery. The role involves ensuring uninterrupted power supply, troubleshooting electrical issues, and complying with safety standards to support smooth operations.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment.
Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems (lighting, power distribution, panels, motors, pumps, HVAC, kitchen, and laundry equipment, etc.).
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using appropriate testing devices and tools.
Ensure timely upkeep of DG sets, UPS, transformers, and other backup power systems.
Carry out routine inspections to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustments or repairs.
Maintain logs of maintenance activities, breakdown reports, and spare parts used.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized electrical work.
Adhere strictly to safety protocols and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Support other maintenance team members in plumbing, HVAC, and general repair work when required.
ITI / Diploma in Electrical Trade (mandatory).
Minimum 6+ years of experience as an Electrician, preferably in hotels, hospitals, industries, or large facilities.
Knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring layouts, control panels, and equipment.
Hands-on experience with DG sets, UPS, LT/HT panels, and motors.
Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Awareness of safety standards and electrical codes.
