Key Responsibilities:
Installation and Assembly:
Installing new elevator systems, escalators, and dumbwaiters, including mechanical and electrical components.
Maintenance and Repair:
Conducting routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs on elevator systems.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and control system malfunctions.
Safety Compliance:
Ensuring all work adheres to safety regulations, building codes, and manufacturer guidelines.
Record Keeping:
Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, service reports, and parts used.
Customer Service:
Addressing client inquiries and concerns related to elevator maintenance and repairs.
Collaboration:
Working with building management, contractors, and other tradespeople on projects.
Staying Updated:
Keeping abreast of industry advancements, safety codes, and best practices.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems related to elevator equipment.
