The Elevator & Parking Systems Technician will be responsible for the installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of elevators and stack parking systems. The role involves attending breakdown calls promptly, performing routine safety checks, and ensuring smooth, reliable, and safe operation of all equipment.
Maintenance & Repairs
Perform regular preventive maintenance of elevators and stack parking systems as per schedule.
Diagnose and repair faults in electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
Replace defective components such as motors, controllers, ropes, sensors, safety devices, and drive units.
Ensure all breakdowns are attended to promptly and effectively to minimize downtime.
Breakdown Management
Respond immediately to emergency calls and breakdowns.
Troubleshoot issues and restore operations quickly.
Report recurring faults and suggest corrective actions.
Safety & Compliance
Conduct routine safety checks on elevators and parking systems.
Test and verify all safety mechanisms including brakes, sensors, overload devices, and emergency systems.
Ensure all systems comply with company and statutory safety regulations.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate service logs, breakdown reports, and safety checklists.
Update maintenance records regularly in company systems (digital or paper-based).
Report material requirements and spare part usage to the Service Manager.
Customer Interaction
Communicate effectively with clients/building managers regarding breakdown status, maintenance activities, and safety measures.
Provide guidance to clients on safe usage of elevators and stack parking systems.
Education: ITI/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical.
Experience: 2–5 years of experience in elevator maintenance; experience in stack parking systems is an advantage (training will be provided if not experienced).
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, control panels, hydraulic systems, and mechanical assemblies.
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical drawings.
Basic computer and reporting skills.

Physically fit, willing to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Strong commitment to safety and preventive maintenance.
Valid driving license preferred.
