We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lathe Machine Turner for an immediate opening. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating manual lathes and capable of precision turning on a variety of materials including Galvanized Iron (GI), Stainless Steel (SS), and Mild Steel (MS).

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate manual lathe machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.

• Interpret and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for accurate machining.

• Work with various materials, demonstrating expertise in turning GI, SS, and MS.

• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required tolerances and standards.

• Operate other workshop machinery as needed, including:

  • Slotting machine

  • Drilling machine

  • Welding machine (basic operations)

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient production and timely completion of projects.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Lathe Machine Turner, with a strong emphasis on manual lathe operation.

• Demonstrated ability to work with GI, SS, and MS materials.

• Excellent blueprint reading and interpretation skills.

• Proficiency in operating slotting, drilling, and basic welding machines.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, precise work.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good problem-solving skills.
