We are looking for a skilled and experienced Fitter to join our fire fighting installation team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in fitting fire fighting systems in high-rise buildings, including both wet and dry systems. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping and fire suppression equipment as per project drawings and safety standards.
Install fire fighting pipelines, valves, sprinklers, hose reels, hydrants, and related accessories.
Interpret and work from technical drawings and layout plans.
Execute fitting and routing of fire fighting systems in residential, commercial, and industrial high-rise projects.
Ensure all installations comply with NFPA standards or relevant local fire safety codes.
Conduct routine inspections and testing of fire suppression systems.
Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other team members for smooth project execution.
Troubleshoot and resolve installation and alignment issues.
Maintain tools, equipment, and safety gear in good working condition.
Ensure safety protocols are followed at the worksite at all times.
ITI or Diploma in Fitter/Mechanical/Plumbing or relevant trade.
Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on experience in fire fighting system installations (preferably in high-rise buildings).
Knowledge of various fire protection systems (sprinklers, hydrants, wet risers, hose reels, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret mechanical/fire system drawings.
Familiarity with pipe fitting tools, threading machines, welding/brazing techniques (if applicable).
Basic understanding of safety and fire codes (NFPA standards preferred).
Physically fit and comfortable working at heights or under pressure.
Previous experience with reputed fire safety contractors or MEP companies.
Certification in fire protection or safety will be an added advantage
