Fire Alarm Technician

We are looking for a Fire Alarm Technician to join our team at Precision Safety Controls Private Limited to repair, install, salary of ₹20000 - ₹30000 with growth opportunities.

Here are the key responsibilities of a Fire Fighter System Technician (also known as Fire Protection Technician or Fire Safety Technician):

🔧 Installation & Commissioning

Install fire protection systems such as:

Fire alarm systems

Sprinkler systems

Fire suppression systems (FM200, CO₂, foam, etc.)

Hydrant and hose reel systems

Fire extinguishers and emergency lights

Commission newly installed systems, ensuring proper functionality

🔍 Inspection & Testing

Conduct routine inspection and testing of fire systems as per safety standards (e.g., NFPA, IS codes)

Check functionality of fire alarms, detectors, panels, pumps, and suppression systems

Perform mock drills or alarm tests to ensure operational readiness

🧰 Maintenance & Repairs

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of:

Fire alarm panels and detectors

Fire pumps and control panels

Sprinklers, valves, pipes, and fittings

Troubleshoot faults or false alarms and resolve issues promptly

Replace faulty components or damaged wiring

📋 Compliance & Documentation

Maintain records of inspections, testing, and maintenance (ITM)

Ensure all systems meet local fire safety codes, building regulations, and manufacturer guidelines

Coordinate with safety officers or authorities for audits and certifications

🤝 Coordination & Support

Work with project engineers, electricians, and other technicians on site

Provide technical support during fire audits or safety training

Educate clients or staff on basic fire system operations and emergency procedures

🛑 Safety & Emergency Response

Respond to emergency situations involving fire safety systems

Shut down or isolate faulty fire systems to prevent further hazards

Assist fire departments or emergency teams when needed
