Job Description:
Areve Electronics is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer with a Diploma in Electronics Engineering to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing technical support and assistance to our clients, ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our security surveillance and office automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and commission CCTV cameras, surveillance systems, Networking Solutions, EPABX systems, GPS tracking devices, alarm systems, attendance record systems, and other electronic equipment at client sites.
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of installed systems to identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
Diagnose faults and perform repairs or replacements of faulty components to restore equipment functionality and minimize downtime.
Provide on-site training and support to clients on the use and operation of installed systems, ensuring customer satisfaction and confidence.
Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and provide technical expertise and recommendations for system solutions.
Maintain accurate records of service activities, including service reports, installation logs, and inventory management.
Stay updated on the latest technology trends, product developments, and industry best practices to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
Adhere to safety procedures and regulations while working on-site to ensure a safe and secure environment for both clients and technicians.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Electronics Engineering or related field from a recognized institution.
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the installation and servicing of electronic security surveillance and office automation systems.
Strong technical knowledge and practical skills in electronics, including understanding of circuit diagrams, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and software applications for system analysis and maintenance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
