The Day Care Facilitator is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children in a day-care setting. This role involves supervising children, implementing age appropriate activities, assisting with daily routines, and maintaining communication with parents. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
1. Child Supervision:
Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times. o Monitor children’s activities, behaviour, and physical condition. o Provide individual attention and care to children as required.
2. Educational Activities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that foster children’s cognitive, social, and emotional development. o Promote learning through play and creativity, including arts and crafts, storytelling, singing, and outdoor activities.
3. Daily Routines:
Assist children with daily routines such as eating, napping, and personal hygiene. o Encourage children to develop independence and self-care skills.
4. Parent Communication:
Communicate with parents regularly regarding their child’s progress, behaviour, and any concerns.
Provide written daily reports or updates on each child’s activities, meals, and overall well-being.
5. Behaviour Management:
Implement positive behaviour management strategies and encourage respectful and kind behaviour among children.
Address any disruptive or challenging behaviours in a calm and constructive manner.
6. Health and Safety:
Ensure all areas of the day-care are clean, safe, and organized.
Adhere to health and safety regulations, including maintaining proper hygiene practices, managing allergies, and ensuring a safe environment.
7. Collaboration:
Work closely with other day-care staff to create a harmonious and supportive environment. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve skills and maintain best

Requirements / Qualifications :
Early Childhood Education (ECE) certification or degree (Required).
Experience working with young children (2-4 years) in a day-care or similar setting.
Knowledge of child development and the ability to create age-appropriate learning activities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. First Aid certification (preferred).
Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children.
