LNCT College, Bhopal is seeking a responsible, dedicated, and disciplined individual to serve as a Hostel Warden. The Warden will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the hostel, maintaining discipline, ensuring student welfare, and creating a safe and supportive environment for hostel residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the overall functioning of the hostel and ensure a safe, secure, and hygienic living environment.

• Maintain discipline among hostel residents and enforce rules and regulations of the hostel.

• Address grievances and personal issues of students with empathy while ensuring college policies are followed.

• Supervise hostel housekeeping, maintenance, and cleanliness in coordination with relevant departments.

• Maintain proper records of student occupancy, attendance, leave/permission requests, and visitor logs.

• Conduct regular hostel rounds to monitor activities, behavior, and maintenance issues.

• Liaise with the college administration, security personnel, and medical staff in case of emergencies.

• Organize hostel orientation programs, safety drills, and welfare activities.

• Handle conflict resolution and ensure peaceful coexistence among hostel inmates.

• Monitor mess/canteen services and ensure quality food and hygiene standards.

• Ensure compliance with fire safety and other statutory norms.

• Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Prior experience in a similar role, especially in an educational institution.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage young students and deal with emergencies calmly and effectively.

  • Proficiency in record-keeping and reporting.

  • Working knowledge of basic computer applications (MS Office, email, etc.).

  • Should be physically fit and capable of handling 24x7 responsibilities if required.
