Key Responsibilities:
Training Program Development: Design, develop, and deliver training programs that address the needs of our sales teams, including new hire training, product knowledge training, and skills-based training.
Training Delivery: Deliver training programs in a classroom setting, virtually, or through on-the-job coaching.
Needs Assessment: Analyze sales performance data to identify training needs and opportunities for improvement.
Sales Performance Improvement: Work with sales leaders to develop strategies for improving sales performance, including coaching, mentoring, and training.
Training Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
Your job responsibilities will include:
• Conduct skills gap analyses to identify areas of improvement
• Design training curriculum within time and budget limitations
• Create and curate training material.
• Induct new salespeople into the process
• Coordinate individual and team performance review sessions to discuss strengths and weaknesses
• Monitor sales objectives and results and drive conversion
• Coach Team members to handle rebuttals effectively.
• Observe sales encounters and collect feedback, results, and performance data of trainees after sessions.
• Report on the impact of training programs (e.g. sales achieved)
• Maintain updated records of training material and curriculum
Requirements:
• Proven work experience as a Sales Trainer or similar role.
• Experience in a sales position in a similar domain.
• Manage the full training cycle, including in-person activities and web-based learning. Excellent organizational skills, communication and presentation abilities Ability to measure performance, experience with building and developing teams.
• At least 3 years of experience as a sales coach, training specialist, or a similar position Possession of certifications in training would be an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of sales techniques and customer service best practices.
