The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the security team to ensure the safety and security of the premises, personnel, and assets. The role includes monitoring security systems, supervising guards, conducting inspections, reporting incidents, and enforcing security protocols.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the security staff across all shifts.
Monitor surveillance systems and respond to any security breaches or incidents.
Ensure all security policies, procedures, and regulations are followed.
Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify and address potential security risks.
Prepare detailed incident and shift reports.
Coordinate emergency response actions including evacuation or medical response if required.
Train, schedule, and evaluate performance of security personnel.
Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
Maintain records of access control logs, patrols, and incident investigations.
Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in security services, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of security operations and safety practices.
Familiarity with security technology such as CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to handle stressful situations and make quick decisions.
Valid security license or certification (as required by law or company).
Standing or walking for extended periods.
May involve exposure to challenging situations requiring a calm demeanor and professional response.
