Security Guard Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises and employees. This role requires a high level of integrity and a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Protect company property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect any suspicious activity.

Monitor surveillance cameras and security alarms to identify potential threats.

Control access points and verify the identity of all visitors and staff.

Respond to alarms and security incidents in a timely and effective manner.

Write daily reports on security activities and any incidents that occur.

Assist staff and visitors with security-related issues.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Security Guard or a similar role.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Basic knowledge of security procedures and protocols.

Excellent observational skills and a keen eye for detail.

Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm under pressure.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical fitness to perform patrols and stand for long periods.

A valid security license (if required by law)
