Job Summary:

The Personal Security Officer cum Driver (PSO-cum-Driver) is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and timely transportation of the company’s senior management. The role requires maintaining vigilance, discipline, and confidentiality while performing both driving and personal protection duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal protection and security to the assigned executive(s) at all times.

• Drive the company or assigned vehicle safely and responsibly, ensuring punctuality and comfort.

• Plan travel routes and conduct advance checks for security risks, traffic conditions, and alternate routes.

• Maintain the assigned vehicle in excellent condition — regular cleaning, fueling, and servicing.

• Ensure the vehicle is equipped with necessary safety and emergency tools.

• Monitor surroundings and report any suspicious activities or potential threats.

• Coordinate with security staff and administrative personnel for smooth movement and safety arrangements.

• Handle emergency situations calmly, ensuring the safety of the principal.

• Maintain confidentiality of all movements, schedules, and personal details of the principal.

• Assist with luggage, door openings, and other support tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a personal driver or PSO for senior officials/executives.

• Preferably from a defense, police, or professional security background.

• Valid LMV driving license with clean driving record.

• Knowledge of local and inter-state routes.

• Physically fit, alert, and disciplined.

• Basic knowledge of first aid and vehicle maintenance.

• Ability to maintain calm and make quick decisions in emergencies.
