The Security Officer will be responsible for managing gate operations, monitoring entry and exit of individuals and vehicles, and ensuring the overall safety and security of the school premises. The ideal candidate should be vigilant, disciplined, and have a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
Supervise and manage security operations across the entire school campus.
Monitor and control gate access for staff, students, parents, and visitors.
Verify identity and maintain entry and exit records for individuals and vehicles.
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unsafe behavior.
Ensure the proper functioning of CCTV systems and coordinate with security vendors if required.
Handle emergency situations calmly and effectively, following school protocols.
Report any suspicious activities, safety hazards, or incidents to the administration.
Collaborate with school staff to enforce school rules and safety regulations.
Maintain daily security logs and submit timely reports to the management.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in security services, preferably in an educational or institutional setting.
Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to stay calm and take decisive action under pressure.
Physically fit and able to perform patrols and stand for long periods.
Basic knowledge of security systems (CCTV, intercoms, etc.).
High level of integrity and a professional attitude.
Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with children, parents, and staff.
Background in military, police, or private security agencies.
Familiarity with school safety protocols and child protection policies.
