Key Responsibilities

1. Access Control & Monitoring

   • Monitor entry and exit points to prevent unauthorized access.

   • Verify identity of visitors, vendors, and staff as per hospital protocols.

   • Issue and collect visitor passes.

2. Surveillance & Patrol

   • Conduct regular foot patrols inside and outside the hospital premises.

   • Monitor CCTV cameras and report suspicious activities immediately.

   • Check that all security systems (alarms, locks, gates) are functioning properly.

3. Safety & Emergency Response

   • Respond promptly to security alarms, emergencies, and incidents.

   • Assist in evacuation during fire drills, natural disasters, or other emergencies.

   • Provide first-line response in case of altercations or threats.

4. Patient & Visitor Assistance

   • Guide patients and visitors courteously to their destinations.

   • Assist in managing crowds during peak visiting hours.

   • Ensure priority assistance for elderly, disabled, and emergency patients.

5. Property Protection

   • Prevent theft, vandalism, or damage to hospital property.

   • Secure high-value medical equipment and restricted areas.

6. Incident Reporting

   • Document and report any security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities.

   • Maintain daily logbooks and submit reports to the supervisor.
