Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Solar Salesman to promote and sell solar energy solutions to residential, commercial, or industrial clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for renewable energy, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to close sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and generate new leads through field visits, cold calling, networking, and referrals.
Conduct site assessments to determine solar suitability and provide customized proposals.
Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy, including environmental and financial aspects.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships throughout the sales cycle.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Coordinate with the technical team for system design and installation scheduling.
Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitors, and government policies/incentives.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent or 12th pass with high confidence, or a related field preferred.
Prior experience in solar sales, energy sector, or direct consumer sales is a plus.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and customer-focused.
Basic technical understanding of solar PV systems is desirable.
Willingness to travel locally or regionally.
Compensation:
Base salary + commission / Incentive-based earnings
