Position Overview
As a Travel Sales Consultant, you will be the face of our brand, working closely with clients to understand their travel needs, recommend ideal destinations and packages, and ensure smooth bookings from start to finish. This role blends sales, customer service, and travel expertise, requiring a proactive approach to exceed targets while maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Understand clients’ travel preferences, budgets, and requirements to create tailor-made travel solutions.
Proactively sell holiday packages, flights, hotels, tours, and other travel-related services.
Handle inbound leads and generate outbound sales through calls, emails, and networking.
Provide expert advice on destinations, travel routes, visa processes, and travel insurance.
Prepare and present customized itineraries and quotations.
Maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat bookings and referrals.
Stay updated with travel trends, airline policies, and tourism developments.
Coordinate with suppliers, tour operators, and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Skills & Requirements
Proven experience in travel sales, customer service, or hospitality (preferred).
Strong sales and negotiation skills with a target-driven mindset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledge of popular destinations, airlines, and travel booking systems (GDS knowledge is an advantage).
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude, problem-solving skills, and a passion for travel.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field (preferred, not mandatory).
