The Team Leader is responsible for supervising, motivating, and guiding a team of sales or customer service executives in achieving targets related to credit card or loan products. This role involves ensuring compliance with company policies, maintaining high-quality customer service, and driving performance through training, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
Lead and manage a team of credit card or loan sales executives to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
Monitor daily performance, track productivity, and provide coaching and feedback to improve individual and team results.
Develop and implement strategies to increase credit card or loan sales, cross-selling, and portfolio quality.
Ensure accurate documentation, processing, and compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.
Handle escalated customer queries and provide timely resolutions to maintain customer satisfaction.
Conduct regular team meetings to discuss performance, targets, and operational updates.
Coordinate with credit, risk, and operations departments for smooth loan/credit card processing.
Prepare and present reports on team performance, sales achievements, and pipeline status to management.
Train and mentor new team members to ensure adherence to company standards and product knowledge.
Maintain a high level of market awareness to identify opportunities and challenges in the lending/credit card space.
Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills.
In-depth understanding of credit card and loan products, underwriting processes, and sales strategies.
Target-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent customer handling and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Excel, and reporting systems.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
3–6 years of experience in credit card or loan sales, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team leader role.
