Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Officer to join our growing EdTech team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, driving revenue growth, and forming strategic partnerships with colleges and educational institutions. This role requires strong communication, relationship-building skills, and a passion for education technology.
Lead Generation & Conversion:
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and field visits.
Qualify leads and manage the sales pipeline effectively to meet and exceed monthly targets.
Maintain a database of prospects and track interactions in CRM tools.
Revenue Generation:
Pitch products and services to prospective clients (students, colleges, training centers, etc.).
Close deals and drive revenue from B2B (college/institutional) and B2C (student/parent) channels.
Upsell and cross-sell EdTech solutions to maximize revenue.
College Tie-ups & Institutional Partnerships:
Establish and maintain partnerships with colleges, universities, and other educational institutions.
Conduct presentations, seminars, and product demos for faculty, management, and students.
Manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure long-term collaboration and renewals.
Market Research & Strategy:
Gather market intelligence, track competitor activities, and provide feedback to the product and marketing teams.
Develop and execute territory-specific sales strategies.
Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports and provide regular updates to the leadership team.
Maintain accurate documentation of contracts, communications, and meeting notes.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
0–2 years of sales experience, preferably in the education or technology sector.
Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing client relationships.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and institutional visits.
Familiarity with CRM tools and sales analytics.
Experience in B2B education sales or EdTech environments.
Ability to deliver effective product presentations and conduct webinars.
