The Bench Sales / Marketing Recruiter is responsible for marketing and placing IT consultants (bench candidates) with client requirements through various channels. This role involves maintaining strong relationships with vendors, clients, and consultants while driving placements and revenue for the organization. The recruiter must be proactive, target-driven, and skilled at negotiating and closing deals in a fast-paced US staffing environment.
Market available bench candidates (US Citizens, GC, H1B, OPT, CPT, etc.) to vendor clients, implementation partners, and direct clients.
Identify suitable client requirements through job portals, social media, networking, and vendor databases.
Maintain relationships with Tier-1 vendors, implementation partners, and client HR teams to generate new opportunities.
Negotiate contract terms, billing rates, and placement details with vendors and clients.
Coordinate with consultants throughout the recruitment and placement process, including interviews, onboarding, and project extensions.
Regularly update consultants about new opportunities and provide market insights.
Maintain an updated database of bench consultants and client/vendor contacts.
Track and report sales metrics, consultant status, and placement outcomes to management.
Ensure compliance with US staffing regulations, immigration policies, and company policies.
Collaborate with the HR and onboarding team for documentation and background checks.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Marketing, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in Bench Sales / US IT Staffing / Recruitment Marketing.
Proven track record of successfully placing consultants on client projects.
Strong understanding of US work authorizations (H1B, OPT, CPT, GC, TN, EAD, US Citizen).
Experience working with job portals like Dice, Monster, Indeed, CareerBuilder, and LinkedIn.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple requirements simultaneously.
Flexible to work in US time zones (EST/CST/PST).
