Role Overview
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the sales of SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions to new startups and aspiring entrepreneurs. This role requires a dynamic individual who can not only lead sales initiatives but also actively engage with the entrepreneurial community through seminars, webinars, and startup events. The ideal candidate must possess exceptional communication skills, confidence in public speaking, and a proven ability to build relationships with early-stage businesses and founders145.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets for SaaS products, focusing on new startups and entrepreneurs.
Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities within the startup ecosystem through direct outreach, networking, and partnership development.
Deliver engaging seminars and presentations in colleges and universities to inspire and attract future entrepreneurs and generate high-quality leads.
Host and participate in webinars, startup meets, and industry events, effectively communicating the value proposition of SaaS offerings to large and small audiences.
Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective clients, guiding them through the sales cycle from initial contact to closing.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align messaging, campaigns, and product positioning with market needs.
Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities using CRM tools.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
Provide feedback to product and development teams based on customer insights and market demands.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in SaaS sales or technology solution selling, preferably to startups or small businesses.
Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to speak confidently and persuasively in front of large audiences (seminars, webinars, startup events).
Experience in delivering presentations, conducting workshops, and hosting webinars for diverse audiences14.

Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
