We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth in the travel and tourism sector. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing key accounts, leading a team of sales executives, and ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service and tailored travel solutions.
Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed targets for domestic and international travel packages.
Identify new business opportunities, customer segments, and distribution channels.
Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales executives or travel consultants.
Set individual and team sales targets and monitor performance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with B2C and B2B clients including corporates, travel agents, and institutions.
Understand client needs and provide customized travel solutions.
Manage lead pipelines from online and offline channels.
Follow up on inquiries, prepare proposals, and close deals effectively.
Collaborate with tour operators, hotels, airlines, and local guides to create attractive packages.
Negotiate rates and contracts with suppliers and partners.
Track sales performance and prepare regular reports on revenue, targets, and conversion rates.
Analyze market trends and customer feedback to refine offerings.
Use CRM systems to manage customer data and sales activities.
Maintain accurate records of all sales interactions and customer communications.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Travel & Tourism, or a related field (MBA preferred).
5–10 years of sales experience in the travel industry or hospitality sector.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing sales teams.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge of travel products, destinations, visa regulations, and seasonal trends.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and booking systems.
