JOB DESCRIPTION:-

We are looking for an experienced and driven Sales Executive with a strong background in the logistics and transportation industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business, managing existing accounts, and contributing to revenue growth in the Chennai region. Identify and acquire new clients for logistics services including freight forwarding, warehousing, and transportation
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure high levels of client satisfaction
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on competitor activities
Understand client logistics needs and propose suitable service offerings
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms in line with company policies
Collaborate with internal teams (operations, customer service, finance) to ensure timely and smooth service delivery
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Maintain up-to-date records of all sales activities, prospects, and customer interactions in CRM
Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in the logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain domain
Strong understanding of logistics solutions including last-mile delivery, warehousing, and multimodal transport
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
Ability to work independently and handle client accounts end-to-end
Familiarity with the Chennai market and local language (Tamil) is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
Existing client network in logistics, e-commerce, or manufacturing sectors
Experience in selling B2B logistics or 3PL services
Target-driven with a strong sales mindset
