Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Executive with a Master's degree and a strong interest in the logistics and maritime industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining client relationships to support the company's growth strategy in containerized cargo services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets (importers/exporters, manufacturers, traders, etc.).
• Promote and sell the company’s container shipping and freight forwarding services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
• Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead in the industry.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to customer needs.
• Collaborate with operations, customer service, and pricing teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Negotiate rates and service terms with customers in line with company policy.
• Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to enhance market visibility.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics sector.
• Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong knowledge of container shipping operations and global trade lanes is a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
