Job Title: Team Leader – Market Development
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Team Leader (Market Development) to lead a team of sales advisors in driving revenue growth through outbound calling and membership sales for a matrimonial company. The Market Development team serves as the direct link to customers and is a key contributor to overall business success, encompassing functions such as renewals, high-value memberships, hubs, and retail centers.
As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the team meets daily and monthly sales and collection targets while maintaining quality and efficiency in every customer interaction. Your role will involve managing team performance through effective allocation of telecalling lists, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to rosters and attendance schedules. You will conduct daily briefings, provide performance feedback, and lead re-training initiatives to enhance productivity. Additionally, you will oversee accurate reporting of sales and account data, ensure timely deposition of collected payments, and track competition trends, offers, and performance benchmarks.
The role also includes participation in recruitment activities such as shortlisting and initial screening of candidates, as well as conducting performance reviews and appraisals to drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree (mandatory).
Minimum 2 years of experience in telemarketing or inside sales, with expertise in objection handling, sales closing techniques, and customer communication.
Proven experience in team management and performance supervision.
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Preferred: Experience in direct marketing, local promotions, or knowledge of the matrimonial industry.
