The Sales Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the sales team to ensure efficient handling of customer inquiries, quotations, orders, and deliveries in the submersible pump business. The role involves close coordination with customers, dealers, distributors, and internal departments to achieve timely order execution and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Support & Coordination

• Coordinate daily sales operations between field sales engineers, production, dispatch, and accounts departments.

• Prepare and follow up on quotations, tenders, and order confirmations for submersible pumps, motors, and accessories.

• Maintain and update customer databases, sales records, and order tracking systems in ERP/CRM software.

• Monitor stock availability and coordinate with the production team for manufacturing schedules and dispatch planning.

• Assist in dealer/distributor management by tracking orders, outstanding payments, and performance metrics.

2. Customer Relationship Management

• Communicate with customers and dealers to provide order status, delivery schedules, and product information.

• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales service coordination.

• Support the sales team in developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships.

• Coordinate warranty claims and service requests with the service department.

3. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain documents such as quotations, invoices, dispatch notes, and delivery challans.

• Assist in preparing MIS reports, sales forecasts, and collection reports.

• Ensure all sales documentation complies with company standards and audit requirements.

• Maintain accurate pricing, product, and customer master data in the system.

4. Marketing & Promotional Support

• Support marketing activities such as product launches, exhibitions, dealer meets, and campaigns.

• Coordinate with the marketing team for preparation of brochures, price lists, and promotional materials.

• Help in collecting market intelligence and competitor information for management review.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or Mechanical Engineering.

• MBA or Diploma in Sales & Marketing (preferred).

Experience:

• 2–5 years of experience as a Sales Coordinator / Sales Support Executive in the submersible pump, motor, valve, or industrial equipment manufacturing sector.
