Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to refine sales plans.
Forecast sales and plan budgets for retail & project sales.
2. Team Leadership & Management
Lead, motivate, and mentor the sales team (Retail Executives, B2B Sales, and Corporate Sales).
Define targets, KRAs, and conduct periodic performance reviews.
Conduct training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales skills.
3. Retail Store Sales
Oversee daily sales operations.
Ensure high store conversion rates and excellent customer experience.
Monitor store performance, visual merchandising, and product display standards.
4. B2B / Project Sales – Furniture Manufacturing
Drive institutional, architect, designer, and corporate sales.
Build strong business relationships with channel partners and key accounts.
Handle large project quotations, negotiations, and closures.
5. Client Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure repeat business.
Address client feedback, queries, and escalations.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.
6. Operations & Coordination
Work closely with production, design, and installation teams to ensure timely project execution.
Coordinate with marketing for promotions, campaigns, and product launches.
Monitor order processing, delivery timelines, and service quality.
7. Reporting & Analysis
Maintain detailed MIS reports for sales performance.
Present business updates and improvement plans to management.
Track sales KPIs and ensure corrective actions where needed.

Proven track record in retail sales and B2B project sales.
Good understanding of the furniture industry, materials, finishes, and product costing.
Analytical mind-set with ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Marketing / related field.
MBA preferred.
Minimum 8 years of experience in retail / furniture / interior industry sales, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
