Job Description – Revenue Manager (Travel Agency)
About the Role
We are looking for a Revenue Manager to join our travel agency team. The person will be responsible for managing domestic and international ticket pricing, bulk ticket purchasing, and creating strategies to increase sales and profits. This role needs someone who understands the travel industry, can negotiate with suppliers, and can use data to make smart business decisions.
Roles & Responsibilities
Purchase and manage bulk domestic and international tickets from airlines and other travel partners.
Negotiate with airlines, hotels, and suppliers for the best deals.
Create and manage pricing strategies for tickets, packages, and group bookings.
Monitor and update prices based on season, demand, and competitor rates.
Manage and grow sales through OTAs, GDS systems, and direct bookings.
Track and analyze sales performance, booking trends, and customer demand.
Forecast future demand and prepare sales/revenue reports.
Work closely with the sales and operations team to create profitable domestic and international travel packages.
Handle customer requirements and provide support when needed.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new travel technologies.
Key Skills Required
Experience in bulk ticketing (domestic & international), pricing, and revenue management.
Knowledge of GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) and OTA platforms.
Strong skills in negotiation and vendor management.
Good understanding of travel industry, domestic & international booking patterns.
Ability to work with Excel, revenue tools, and CRM systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
