Job Summary

We are seeking a driven and dynamic Medical Representative (MR) specializing in ophthalmic products, particularly eye drops, to promote and build strong relationships with key hospitals, doctors, and pharmacists. The role requires engaging with leading healthcare professionals, driving sales, and increasing market presence in the eye care segment.

Key Responsibilities

Promote and detail company’s eye care products (especially eye drops) to ophthalmologists, optometrists, and hospital procurement teams.

Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with key hospitals including AIIMS, Guru Nanak Eye Centre, and Safdarjung Hospital.

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets in the assigned territory.

Organize product presentations, CMEs (Continuing Medical Education) and doctor engagement activities.

Collect market intelligence on competitor products, pricing, and promotions.

Ensure timely reporting of daily calls, doctor feedback, and sales performance.

Coordinate with the distribution team for timely supply and stock management.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Pharmacy, or a related field (preferred).

1–3 years of experience as a Medical Representative, preferably in ophthalmic products.

Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.

Familiarity with hospital sales processes and medical terminology.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Willingness to travel locally within assigned territory.
