Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement:
Conduct cold calls to prospective customers to generate leads.
Respond to and follow up on India-Mart and exhibition inquiries.
Reconnect with customers based on previous purchases to explore repeat sales opportunities.
Collaboration with External Sales:
Coordinate with external sales teams to plan customer visits.
Verify and check tour reports post Regional Sales Manager (RSM) sanctions.
Quotation and Order Management:
Prepare and send accurate quotations to customers.
Proactively follow up on quotations to convert them into orders.
Accurately enter sales orders into the system for processing.
Material and Dispatch Coordination:
Work with the sales manager to plan material requirements for customer orders.
Track and follow up on dispatch schedules with Production Planning to ensure timely deliveries.
Share dispatch details with customers promptly.
Payment and Accounts Coordination:
Monitor and follow up on overdue payments to ensure timely collection.
Material Planning:
Coordinate with Purchase and Warehouse teams to plan material requirements. Ensure material availability to prevent any delivery delays to customers. Optimize inventory management to balance stock levels and timely replenishment.
