Role Overview
The Financial Consultant is responsible for advising clients on the best insurance products based on their needs, financial goals, and risk profile. The role involves relationship building, needs assessment, policy explanation, and ensuring seamless customer service while meeting sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Consultation & Advisory
Understand client needs, financial status, and risk appetite.
Recommend suitable insurance products including life, health, and investment plans.
Explain policy features, benefits, terms, and conditions clearly.
2. Sales & Business Development
Identify business opportunities through leads, referrals, and networking.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Conduct follow-ups with prospects and convert leads into sales.
3. Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Provide after-sales support including policy servicing, renewals, and claims guidance.
Maintain client records and track policy performance.
4. Market & Product Knowledge
Stay updated with industry trends and insurance products.
Participate in training sessions, workshops, and team meetings.
Provide feedback to management on customer needs and competitor activities.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to explain complex information in simple terms.
Sales-driven mindset with negotiation and objection-handling skills.

Basic knowledge of financial planning and insurance products.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field (preferred).
Prior experience in insurance, banking, or financial services is an advantage.
