Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and driven Sales Executive (GEM) with hands-on experience in the Government e-Marketplace (GEM) and E-Procurement portals. The ideal candidate should be capable of managing end-to-end tendering processes and handling government sales channels effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, track, and manage sales and business opportunities through GEM and other government e-procurement portals.

• Upload, update, and maintain product/service catalogs on the GEM portal (add/remove items, update specifications and prices).

• Prepare and submit bid and tender documents accurately and within deadlines.

• Handle high volumes of government inquiries and manage responses effectively.

• Coordinate with concerned departments/officials to monitor and document tender progress.

• Act as the point of contact for all government agency interactions.

• Maintain updated lists of government contacts and build relationships with key personnel.

• Resolve client queries and issues related to the GEM portal.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to understand and address business needs and challenges.

• Coordinate with OEMs and issue product authorizations/approvals.

• Provide daily updates on project execution to the reporting manager.

• Evaluate and discuss potential tender opportunities with management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in handling GEM portal and government tenders.

• Strong knowledge of online/offline tender submission processes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and professional email communication.

• Strong interpersonal and coordination skills.

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and result-driven.

• Team player with excellent communication skills.
