We are looking for a Business Development Officer to join our team at at Damal Industries Private Limited. The role requires identifying new business opportunities, building long-lasting client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate for this role must have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven record of closing deals.
Job Requirements:
Market Expansion & Distribution Development
• Identify new geographical areas for business expansion.
• Appoint and manage distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners.
• Ensure product availability and visibility in all assigned outlets.
Sales Target Achievement
• Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and volume growth.
• Track primary and secondary sales; push slow-moving SKUs.
Retailer & Distributor Relationship Management
• Maintain strong relationships with channel partners.
• Address issues like stock gaps, order delays, or payment follow-ups.
Product Promotion & Visibility
• Implement trade marketing activities (e.g., POS materials, sampling).
• Conduct in-store promotions, shelf displays, and branding initiatives.
Reporting & Data Analysis
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on sales, stock, and collections.
• Use data analytics to suggest improvements in coverage and reach.
Team Coordination
• Work closely with the sales team, merchandisers, and marketing team.
• Train field staff on new launches, promotions, and sales techniques.
Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is Post Graduate(MBA) and 3 - 4 years of experience. Applicants should have strong negotiation skills, a customer-first approach, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
