Business Development Manager (BDM) - Tiles & Sanitary Ware Company

Location: Mumbai, India

Experience: 3-8 years (in the tiles, sanitary ware, or building materials industry preferred) as BDM

• Relationship Building: Establish and nurture relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, builders, and developers to promote products.

• Lead Generation: Conduct market research, cold calling, networking, and leverage client referrals to create business opportunities.

• Client Management: Build and sustain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and consistent referrals.

• Product Promotion: Present products and conduct site visits to demonstrate features and benefits effectively.

• Deal Management: Collaborate with the sales team, prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, and close high-value deals.

• Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities.

• Strategy Development: Propose innovative strategies to expand the company’s footprint in the Mumbai region.

• Team Collaboration: Work with internal teams for seamless project execution and delivery.

• Reporting: Maintain daily visit reports and regularly update management on performance metrics and forecasts.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in tiles, sanitary ware, or building materials.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

• Strong understanding of Mumbai’s real estate and construction sectors.

• Ability to analyze market data and create actionable business strategies.

• Self-driven, result-oriented, and able to perform under pressure.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing; MBA preferred.
