Identify and develop new business opportunities in the IT sector (software, hardware, managed services, cloud, etc.)
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
Understand client needs and present tailored IT solutions that address those needs
Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and product demos
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate solution scoping and delivery
Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Use CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage leads, pipeline, and reporting
Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or related field (Master’s is a plus)
3–7 years of experience in IT sales, business development, or a similar role
Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets in the IT industry
Strong understanding of IT products/services such as:
Cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Software development (Web, Mobile, SaaS)
Cybersecurity solutions
IT consulting and staffing
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented
Familiarity with CRM software and sales reporting tools
