Job Purpose:
As a Business Development Associate, you will play a key role in driving growth for Aditya Lamps | Ashni Studio by identifying new business opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships, and increasing our market share in the eco-friendly and home décor lighting industry. You will be a crucial part of our expansion strategy, ensuring that our high-quality, sustainable lighting products reach a wider audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify New Business Opportunities: Actively research and identify new market segments, industries, and geographic regions to expand Aditya Lamps | Ashni Studio's customer base.
Lead Generation: Generate leads through various channels, including email marketing, networking, trade shows, and online outreach.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, vendors, and partners to ensure repeat business and long-term collaborations.
Sales Support: Assist in closing sales by coordinating with the sales team, providing product knowledge, and helping in negotiations and proposals.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends. Report insights to the senior management team to refine sales strategies.
Promote Brand Awareness: Act as a brand ambassador for Aditya Lamps | Ashni Studio, sharing the company's mission of sustainability and craftsmanship with potential clients and partners.
Collaborations & Partnerships: Assist in forming strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the hospitality, retail, and interior design sectors.
Reporting & Analytics: Track business development efforts and performance metrics, and provide regular updates to management on progress towards goals and KPIs.
Customer Support: Ensure smooth communication between the business development team and customers to resolve any inquiries or issues, delivering an excellent customer experience.
Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. An MBA is a plus.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing. Experience in the home décor, retail, or eco-friendly products industry is an advantage.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade clients and partners.
Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate deals and build mutually beneficial relationships.
Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify growth opportunities.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
Self-Motivated & Goal-Oriented: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for Sustainability: A strong commitment to promoting eco-friendly and sustainable business practices.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in digital marketing or e-commerce.
Knowledge of the interior design industry or home décor market.
Understanding of online business development tools and strategies.
Fluency in multiple languages (especially English and Hindi) is a plus.
