Job Description: Business Development Intern
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying and developing new business opportunities, with a strong focus on the education sector. The role requires a clear and confident mindset, excellent communication skills, strategic thinking and a proactive approach to building and nurturing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify Prospects
Research and identify potential clients in the education sector, including schools, colleges, universities, and educational organizations.
Maintain a database of leads and prospects.
Outreach
Initiate contact through calls, emails, social media and walk-ins.
Set up introductory meetings to understand client needs.
Proposals
Create suitable marketing strategies, tailored to the client’s needs
Prepare and deliver presentations or proposals.
Pitch Services
Present our digital marketing strategies clearly and effectively.
Customize the pitch to match client requirements.
Follow-Up
Regularly follow up with prospects.
Send reminders, proposals and respond to client questions promptly.
Closing Deals
Negotiate terms and close contracts.
Achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
Qualifications and Skills:
Freshers are preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in the education sector.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to find solutions and overcome objections.
Skilled in discussing terms and closing deals.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
Willingness to travel as required for client meetings.
