The Sales & Coordination Executive will be responsible for managing the complete sales cycle—from receiving inquiries to order closure and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and effective coordination with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of orders. The candidate will also handle documentation, portal entries, and payment follow-up as part of regular business operations.
Receive and handle sales inquiries through various channels, including Direct Leads, IndiaMART, Email, and Phone Calls.
Accurately record and categorize all inquiries to ensure timely follow-up.
Prepare accurate, competitive, and timely quotations as per customer requirements and company pricing structure.
Maintain quotation logs and ensure all proposals meet internal approval standards.
Conduct regular follow-up with potential customers to resolve queries and negotiate terms.
Work towards converting inquiries into confirmed sales orders through effective communication.
Create and update Sales Inquiries and Sales Orders in the company’s ERP system.
Verify all details—product specifications, quantities, rates, and delivery terms—for accuracy.
Coordinate with Production, Dispatch, and Logistics teams to ensure timely manufacturing and delivery of materials.
Share client requirements and track order progress until final dispatch.
Perform ASN (Advance Shipping Note) and MRN (Material Receipt Note) entries on the L&T Supplier Portal.
Maintain DPR (Daily Progress Report) entries for Tata projects, including purchase and sales data.
Maintain all sales-related records and documentation required for ISO audits and internal reviews.
Ensure all documents are complete, updated, and aligned with company compliance standards.
Regularly follow up with customers for pending payments to ensure timely collection.
Coordinate with the accounts department on receivables and credit notes if applicable.
Complete order closure by verifying dispatch, documentation, and payment completion.
Collect and document customer feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong communication and customer-handling skills
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
Ability to multitask and coordinate with multiple departments
Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
Basic understanding of sales processes and commercial terms
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or related field
1–3 years of experience in Sales Coordination or Customer Support (preferred)
Experience with industry portals like L&T, Tata, or IndiaMART is an added advantage
