As an Area Sales Officer at HDFC Life, you will be responsible for driving life insurance sales in a designated geographic area. You will manage a team or channel partners (depending on channel), achieve business targets, maintain customer relationships, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Achieve sales targets for life insurance products through assigned channels (Agency/Bancassurance/Direct/Corporate, etc.)
Recruit, train, and motivate agents or partners (for Agency/Direct channels)
Build strong relationships with bank staff (for Bancassurance channel)
Ensure high conversion rates through effective lead management and follow-ups
Drive business through field activities, customer meetings, and area-level promotional activities
Conduct regular performance reviews and training for the sales team or agents
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal process guidelines
Prepare and submit reports on sales performance and market feedback.
