Key Responsibilities:
· Program Evaluation:
Assess the effectiveness of academic programs by examining course content, teaching practices, student assessments, and alignment with educational objectives.
· Compliance Monitoring:
Ensure adherence to academic policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
· Quality Enhancement:
Identify areas for improvement in academic processes and recommend strategies to enhance the quality of teaching, learning, and assessment.
· Reporting and Recommendations:
Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, observations, and actionable recommendations for senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.
· Collaboration:
Work with faculty, administrators, and other stakeholders to facilitate the audit process and implement recommendations.
· Record Review:
Examine academic records, including course plans, syllabi, and student assessments, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
· Curriculum Alignment:
Evaluate the alignment of curriculum with established standards and learning outcomes.
· Faculty Development:
Contribute to the development and implementation of faculty training programs to improve teaching practices.
· Continuous Improvement:
Promote a culture of continuous improvement in academic practices through ongoing evaluation and feedback.
Qualifications:
· A strong understanding of academic quality standards and best practices.
· Experience in higher education, including teaching, curriculum development, or academic administration.
· Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in using technology for data collection, analysis, and reporting.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
· Knowledge of relevant regulations and accreditation standards.
· Advanced degree in a relevant field is often preferred.
