Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Experience
Achieve and exceed store sales targets through product availability, customer service, and high store standards.
Ensure customer delight with seamless shopping experience, complaint resolution, and loyalty-building.
Operations & Compliance
Maintain high standards of retail operations including Planogram, hygiene, visual merchandising, staffing, and security.
Ensure compliance with company policies and all statutory/legal requirements (licenses, employment laws, safety, equal opportunities).
Inventory & Shrinkage Control
Manage stock efficiently to ensure availability, proper accounting, and minimal wastage/ageing.
Keep shrinkage within budgeted norms by following stock management processes and vigilance.
Financial & Reporting
Control expenses within budgets through effective planning and resource utilization.
Provide regular reports on sales, customers, competition, promotions, and inventory to support strategic decision-making.
Marketing & Promotions
Ensure timely implementation of marketing campaigns, promotions, and visual merchandising initiatives at the store level.
People Management & Leadership
Lead, coach, and mentor the store team to improve engagement, productivity, and retention.
Handle scheduling, attendance, leave, performance reviews, and grievance management effectively.
Build a strong store culture through teamwork, training, and development.
Asset Management
Ensure proper maintenance, utilization, and accountability of store assets to maximize returns.
